In addition to the main Winter ’26 release, we are making this update available prior to the Spring release. This release includes UX and usability improvements, and task and media management options.
Ask Vinton quick access
When viewing a meeting from the Vinton component on a record page, users can now use a quick link (“V” icon) to go straight to the Vinton Library with Ask Vinton open for that meeting.

We have also added the Ask Vinton button to be more prominent in the Vinton Library view. The button appears now above the meeting recording.

For more information, go to our Wiki.
Regenerate follow-up email
Users can now easily change the tone of a follow-up email that Vinton has generated. We offer 5 different tones:
- Formal
- Friendly
- Detailed
- Succinct
- 2nd follow-up (this generates a second follow-up email to send if you had no response to the first)
For example, if switching from a Formal to Friendly tone, Vinton instructs the LLM to, “Rewrite the follow-up email for a meeting. Using the meeting transcript as context and the CURRENT_EMAIL below as the base, rewrite the email in a warmer, friendlier, and conversational tone while staying professional. Keep all key information, commitments, dates, prices, and next steps unchanged. Avoid adding new promises or extra content.”

Media file download
Admins can decide whether to give users the ability to download the media file for their meeting recording. Admins can choose from the following options:
- No one: Prevents all users from downloading media. The option to download is not available.
- Only the owner: Allows meeting owners (usually the host) to download their media files. This also allows anyone with Nativevideo Admin Permissions to download.
- Anyone: Allows anyone with a Vinton and Nativevideo licence to download media.
Go to our Wiki for full instructions on how to set this up.
If permission is given, the “Download Media” option can be found on the three dots button that overlays the media file.
Improved task management
When Vinton suggests next steps after a meeting or call, you can generate Salesforce tasks from those. Previously, the create task dialog box limited users to assign a task to a user or to relate a task to particular record.
In this release, we have now added the ability for users to set the due date and add comments at the time of creating the task. For more information, go to our wiki.
Collapse or expand video view
Where there is a Vinton component on a record page, you can now expand or collapse the media view. When collapsed, this allows for more space to view the summary and other text. The small play icon to the left of the meeting title will expand and collapse the media.

Vinton Scribe on Microsoft Store
Vinton Scribe, our bot-less notetaker app, is now available via the Microsoft Store. For instructions on setting up Scribe, go to our Wiki. (Note: Admins must enable Vinton Scribe from the Nativevideo Admin panel before users can transcribe calls using it. To use this version of Scribe, please ensure you update to the latest versions of Nativevideo and Vinton.)
Vinton Library UX changes
In this release we have made some minor changes to the Vinton library layout on both desktop and mobile in order to provide more space to the summary of the call, and to make key information and features more readily available.
- Title, date and time and participants of the meeting now show above the video or audio file.
- Ask Vinton and Copy Share Link buttons appear above the video or audio file.
- On mobile, the Copy Share Link and Associate Records button appears above the video or audio file.
Note: If share links are not configured in your Org, the share button will not display.

Font and colours for public meeting sharing page
When you create and share a public sharing link for a Vinton meeting, the page displays like this:

We’ve now enabled Admins to update the colours of the tabs, the fonts used and whether to toggle on or off the notebook spirals.
For more information, go to this guide.
Notetaker name and join preferences for the Org
Admins can select the style of notetaker name used by individuals in the Org, or limit the type of join preferences users can choose from. This can all be managed from the Nativevideo Admin Panel.
Admins can select or deselect options from both notetaker names and join preferences to ensure that Users can only choose from a subset.
For more information, visit this guide.
Admin Overview of Vinton users
To more easily manage licences and permissions for Vinton users, we have added an admin overview of all users in the Nativevideo Admin panel. This is accessible via Nativevideo Admin → Nativevideo Configurations → Vinton → Overview.
Admins can also easily Export the data to Excel using the Export to Excel button.

Add KMS key for custom Amazon S3 storage
For clients choosing Customer Amazon S3 Storage for Vinton, they can add a KMS key into the Admin Panel if they have added a KMS key on S3. Instructions to set this up are available here.
