Last Friday, I had the pleasure of heading back to The Brewery in London for what’s become a firm highlight in the Salesforce ecosystem calendar: London’s Calling.
For anyone unfamiliar, London’s Calling is Europe’s largest community-led Salesforce event, bringing together Salesforce professionals, partners, customers, and enthusiasts from across the ecosystem. It’s not just a place to talk tech (although there’s plenty of that!), it’s an opportunity to connect with old friends and colleagues, meet new ones, exchange ideas, and get inspired by what others are building in the Salesforce world.
A Big Thank You to the Organisers
Massive kudos as always to London’s Calling organisers: Francis Pindar, Kerry Townsend, Todd Halfpenny, Louise Lockie, and Jade Hawken. Their energy and enthusiasm shows through the entire event. As always, the atmosphere was welcoming, the sessions were packed with insight, and community engagement was front and centre.
London’s Calling Demo Jam: Vinton Meets Agentforce
This year marked our third appearance in the Demo Jam. It takes place right at the beginning of the day and is a great way to get everyone engaged and geared up for the day ahead! If you’ve never seen one, a Demo Jam is a fast-paced competition where tech solutions get just three minutes to show off their solution. No slides, no fluff, no pre-recordings – just live demo magic!
This time, I had some extra pressure… I was joined on stage by my “new boss” — Minahil Ashfaq — who, in true boss-like fashion, came armed with lots of tough questions about some of my opportunities. Thankfully, I wasn’t alone. I had Vinton by Nativevideo — our AI notetaker for Salesforce — and Agentforce at my side to help answer those questions, track everything, and show how easy it is to bring conversations and AI together inside Salesforce. Check out the short demo below.
The beauty of Vinton is its simplicity: it captures calls, meetings, even in-person conversations, and turns them into structured Salesforce data. That’s where the magic happens for Agentforce, because as we all know, AI is only as good as the data behind it. With Vinton capturing rich, accurate, contextual data directly inside Salesforce, our customers are laying the foundation for their Agentic AI strategy without even realising it.
The Competition was Fierce… And Musical!
Of course, the Demo Jam wouldn’t be the Demo Jam without a bit of friendly competition. Huge respect to the other companies who took part this year — Avonni, Copado, WithSecure, Gearset, Nutrient, RocketPhone.ai, and GoElephant.
But I don’t think anyone was prepared for the performance of the day from Cloud Analogy. A live, rapped Demo? Yep, for 3 minutes one of their team rapped the entire Demo whilst his colleague ran the tech.
AI & Agentforce – The Hot Topics of the Day
Beyond the demos, it was clear that AI is dominating conversations across the Salesforce ecosystem. With the recent developments around Agentforce and AI agents, more companies are thinking seriously about how to get their data house in order and how AI can support their teams.
That’s why I love showing how Vinton fits into this bigger picture. It’s not just about transcription or meeting summaries. It’s about capturing knowledge, improving data quality, and paving the way for AI agents to deliver real value inside Salesforce.
Wrapping Up — Why London’s Calling Matters
London’s Calling is a reminder of what makes the Salesforce community so unique. Yes, the technology is exciting. Yes, the product announcements matter. But it’s the people, the passion, and the willingness to share and collaborate that make this ecosystem thrive.
We had some great conversations on the day with customers, prospects, and partners. The buzz around AI is real, but so is the recognition that it all starts with good data and the right foundations.
We’re already looking forward to next year.
