Tactiq is an AI notetaker, one of many available to trial or subscribe to. It offers an integration to Salesforce, but what exactly does that mean? We trialled Tactiq to understand how its integration worked. We also used the trial to explore the interesting features of Tactiq.
The information in this post is correct as at 27th March 2025..
The pros of using Tactiq
Trying out Tactiq, there were some great features that we enjoyed using:
- Lots of AI prompt templates provided within the platform
- Has an AI chatbot to which you can ask questions about your meeting
- Provides meeting insights
- Auto-chapters your meeting
- Highlights questions and keywords
- You can click to share the transcript to multiple platforms like Salesforce, Slack or HubSpot.
The cons of Tactiq
- Tactiq suggested that it would automatically share meeting transcripts and key information to Salesforce, but it wasn’t automated for us. We had to undergo a manual process and choose which Contact record to share with.
- Tactiq does not capture the meeting recording. However you can auto-add links to your recordings if you capture them through the video conferencing platform i.e. Zoom, Meet, Teams.
- There aren’t many insights available. Time spent speaking is one but there is little else.
Tactiq’s pricing
Tactiq has four pricing tiers:
- Free (forever) but limited in terms of 5 AI credits/ month. Every time you use an AI feature on a transcript, you use 1 credit). You’re also limited to 10 transcripts per month
- Its Pro tier is $8 per user/month. You get 10 AI credits per month, but this time with unlimited transcripts.
- The Team tier is $16.67 per user/month with unlimited AI credits and unlimited transcripts.
- Finally the Enterprise tier is for companies with 100+ users and comes with managed data retention, dedicated account management, SAML SSO. Pricing is custom.
Tactiq’s integration with Salesforce
As highlighted above, Tactiq indicates that you can automate the sharing of meeting transcripts and other key information with Salesforce, however we found this didn’t work in practice.
You can share the transcript with a chosen Contact record but that’s a manual process. And note, that it will only sync with the Contact record.
What is captured is very light in content. Here’s an example below. Whilst it says it sends the transcript to Salesforce, what it in fact sends is a link to the transcript! So you have to revert back to Tactiq to read it! That was somewhat disappointing.

So light is the content that you gain nothing from having it in Salesforce, other than to know the meeting took place by the logging of an event. You cannot use the conversation data in Salesforce to help understand the progress of an Opportunity, the status of an Account or Case…
VInton, on the other hand, is native in Salesforce and its purpose is to turn conversations into Salesforce data so that you have a single system of record with your customer data and you customer conversations in context together. It helps to build a foundation of data for future AI agents. Find out more about Vinton.
