Dreamforce is over. We’re back home. The jet lag is waning, and we’re finally getting a chance to reflect on three fantastic days at Salesforce’s biggest annual conference in San Francisco.
We had hundreds of conversations with Salesforce customers, prospects, partners and Trailblazers. We showed off some of the biggest developments we’ve been working on (more on that later), saw Vinton mentioned on stage in the AgentExchange Theater, caught up with some of our favourite customers, and somehow found enough energy at the end of each day to make it to the parties!
Sunday was travel day
The Vinton team headed out from their home locations, UK, Italy and Türkiye, to San Francisco. We knew it was going to be a pretty full-on week so most of us tried to get as much sleep as possible on the flight.
After months of planning, preparing demos, designing the booth, organising giveaways and shipping, and generally making sure we hadn’t forgotten anything important, it was finally time to get on to the Campground floor and make the event a success.
Monday: badge collection and setup
Monday was all about getting the booth ready. As anyone who’s attended or exhibited at a conference of this size knows, there’s a huge amount of work happening behind the scenes. The show organisers did a fantastic job and by the end of the day, our bright orange Vinton booth was ready to go.
We also took a trip to the Apple Store to buy the prizes for our daily prize draw of AirPods and our grand prize draw of a MacBook Neo.
And then, because we were running on copious amounts of coffee, we headed off to the BlazerFest party in the evening and caught up with some of our favourite Salesforce partners including Supermums, Mavericx, Unaric and Gridmate. A great start to the week.
Tuesday: Dreamforce begins

Then came the big day.
The doors opened and suddenly months of preparation became three very busy days. Our booth was packed from the start to finish of every day.
We brought three big things to Dreamforce 2026:
The new and improved Vinton desktop app
The Vinton desktop app now includes a new calendar view which means you not only see your library of previous meetings, but you can see upcoming meetings too, and Vinton will help you to prepare in advance. It gives you a summary of all your previous meetings, in context with related Opportunities or other records, plus it lists all previous meetings that you can easily review.

Ask Vinton 2.0
Not only that, but the new and improved “Ask Vinton” enables users to ask questions across all your meetings, calls and voice notes. Want to know what topics keep coming up across your customer conversations? What objections your sales team are hearing repeatedly? Or whether there’s a common theme appearing across a whole series of meetings?
Ask Vinton will find the answers across your conversation data, in context with your other Salesforce data.

Field Agent
Field Agent isn’t new to Vinton, but this is its first Dreamforce.
It takes the information captured from your conversations and uses it to automatically update Salesforce records and fields with field-level precision.
So we’re not just capturing conversations and putting the data into Salesforce. We’re helping turn that conversation data into actionable, structured CRM data.

The keynote: AIforce, headless Salesforce and data in context
The keynote had some big themes and big speakers. One of the biggest themes running through Dreamforce was the move towards a more headless Salesforce experience.
Salesforce unveiled AIforce, describing it as an interface layer that brings Salesforce data, workflows, business logic, permissions and governance into the AI interfaces where people and agents already work. In other words, Salesforce doesn’t necessarily need to be the interface you open to get work done.
Salesforce also announced expanded partnerships with Google Cloud and AWS, extending the reach of Salesforce’s data and agentic capabilities across other platforms.
And alongside all of that was a huge focus on trust, governance and security. Marc Benioff announced the Salesforce Trusted Enterprise AI Harness which brings together context, agency, action, governance, security and models, with an AI Control Plane designed to give businesses visibility and control as AI spreads across Salesforce and third-party systems.
Honestly though, the biggest excitement wasn’t around these product announcements but rather around the big personalities alongside Marc Benioff. Dario Amodei of Anthropic and Jensen Huang of NVIDIA, each giving different perspectives on the pace and governance of AI. Catch up with the keynote on Salesforce+ if you haven’t seen it.
If we could take one phrase from the keynote that we kept returning to, it was this one: Data in context.
If Salesforce is the system that provides context to people, AI and agents, then the question becomes, “Does Salesforce have all the context it needs?”
The missing conversation data
This is where we think Vinton has a particularly important role to play.
Businesses generate enormous amounts of information through conversations.
- Customer meetings
- Phone calls
- Video calls
- In-person visits
- Voice notes
- Sales conversations
- Service conversations
- Adviser/client discussions
Vinton brings that conversation data directly into Salesforce, adding a conversation layer of data right there alongside all your other customer data. It can be searched, understood, connected with other CRM data and used to drive action.
And as Salesforce moves towards a world where agents can access and act on the information held in Salesforce from wherever people are working, having that conversation layer in place becomes increasingly valuable.
Wednesday: On stage and at Dreamfest
Wednesday brought another highlight for Vinton.
We were delighted to have Vinton included in a presentation about “10 MVP-Vetted Apps and Agents to Automate your Organization” in the AgentExchange Theater. Great to see Vinton mentioned on stage at Dreamforce!
Back on the booth, the conversations just kept coming.
We spoke to people from all sorts of industries about all the possible use cases for conversation intelligence, the same underlying challenge for all of them: “How do you get more of the valuable information created in conversations into Salesforce?”
Too many companies are working with systems that claim to integrate with Salesforce, but in reality just pass minimal information to Salesforce with a link back to the recording and transcript elsewhere. Vinton is native in Salesforce so all data is added there against related records.
After a busy day, we headed to the annual Dreamfest event, this year with Gwen Stefani and Usher performing. Great energy, great music. Not a bad way to spend a Wednesday evening.
Thursday: Surely it’ll be quieter today?
By Thursday morning, we were all assuming things would start to slow down. We thought the final day would be quieter. People would start heading home around lunchtime. We’d have a bit of time to breathe.
Dreamforce had other ideas!
Thursday was ridiculously busy. Possibly our busiest day. In fact, it stayed busy right through the afternoon and into the final hours. Doors closed at 4pm, and we still talking to prospective customers right up to the wire. In fact, security had to come and remind us that Dreamforce was closed and could we please leave!
Our Dreamforce 2026 key takeaways
There were obviously a huge number of announcements, products and ideas competing for attention.
But for us, the bigger story was the direction Salesforce is taking. The platform, data, workflows, business logic and governance don’t necessarily need to be experienced through the traditional Salesforce interface. They can increasingly surface through AI, Slack, Claude, agents and other interfaces. In fact, Vinton clients can surface Salesforce information through our Vinton app too.
All of this makes context even more important. If an AI agent is going to answer a question about a customer, recommend an action, update an opportunity or take the next step in a workflow, it needs more than a few fields in a CRM record.
It needs the context behind those fields. And some of the richest context your business has is sitting inside its conversations.
- Close date moved from September to November: the conversation tells you the customer is waiting for budget approval from their CFO.
- Opportunity suddenly goes cold: the last call reveals the champion left the company or the project has been deprioritised.
- A customer asks about a competitor: the conversation tells you what triggered the question and whether they’re actively evaluating alternatives.
- A customer complains about a product or service: the conversation captures the specific issue, its business impact and what they expect you to do about it.
CRM data tells you what happened. Conversation data tells you why.
That’s the opportunity we see for Vinton. Salesforce has the customer data. Vinton brings the conversation data.
Together, that creates a much richer picture of what is actually happening with customers, prospects and accounts.
And as Salesforce moves towards Agentforce, AIforce, Claudeforce and a more context-driven, agentic way of working, we think that conversation layer is going to become increasingly important.
Join us for our next LinkedIn Live
Join us on Thursday 8 October, 4pm BST for our LinkedIn Live event, “Data in Context: Why conversations should be in Salesforce.”
We’ll discuss:
- Why conversations are such an important part of Salesforce context
- Why all conversations matter, not just recorded video meetings
- How Vinton puts that conversation data directly into Salesforce
- How Field Agent turns what was said into Salesforce updates with field-level precision
- How Ask Vinton lets you get answers from your conversations+records data
- And where Vinton fits as Salesforce moves towards Agentforce, Claudeforce and increasingly context-driven AI
